| woah, xanga is a lot different since the last time i was on here... i never use xanga anymore, but i realized that a lot of people i love still do...that was fun reading brittan's post (do xanga people still use that terminology? i don't even know it's been so long) well, i don't have much to say, just hello xanga kids again...maybe i have found yet another way to waste my time...much love | | |
| This is my second to last day at work! it has been really nice to get some extra dinero for the savings account (and possibly some to spend on me...i feel it's time to spend some...i've been saving all my work money for a long time now...any suggestions?) i've gotten a little better at the oil and gas business...but no future careers here i don't think...but if you're interested in it, there's some big money in it!
Christmas and New Year's was excellent...it has been a wonderful break...i read True Believer and At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks...they were excellent...i even cried...for all you N.Sparks lovers out there...make sure you read these! i am now starting Francine Rivers' Mark of the Lion series...beginning with a Voice in the Wind...it's going to be great...I'm way excited!
on sunday brandon and i are headed to north carolina to visit his family...woo hoo! i have been wanting to go to north carolina forever! it will be fun...we even get to go to the beach...of course not in bathing suits..it would be a little frigid...but i'm still pumped. well, wish me luck meeting the entire millar family! amos | | |
| wow, so i never really play on the internet much these days, but right now i am procrastinating studying/doing finals work. so a little update since the last, long ago post...me and brandon celebrated our year anniversary and i was dropped! yippee! and i am catching on to brandon's love of outdoors (i always liked them, but more in a lake perspective) and am now on my way to becoming a backpacking woman...i am proud to say i have learned quite a few things from brandon's new books he bought on backpacking... ummm what else? i miss my sister, i don't see her very much, us being at two different colleges and all. and i miss spending time with my girl friends. we don't see each other much already, and next semester may be worse! and then they will all leave! except of course my best pal and loved roommate, christin robinson. i have been getting to spend time with her, which is extra exciting, and we have been having a blast lately. well, that's about it, except we have been learning a lot about reproduction in life science thanks to dr. knight...but i really did learn a lot...it was actually pretty cool...he is my favorite professor of the semester! well, good luck on finals everyone! get excited for Christmas! | tonight i am excited because i have no homework for tomorrow! and no 10:00 class! i also get to go out to eat lunch with stina and her dad tomorrow, and tonight i'm getting good sleep! brandon and i had a great talk tonight and everything is great! happy 11 months to us yesterday! only one more month until the year marker...yee haw! yay for getting to play on xanga again. i didn't see america's funniest videos tonight...hopefully more good ones soon...did anyone laugh at those kids like i did? anyway, have a good weekend! amos | | |
| so i am pretty much in love with america's funniest home videos...you may think i am nerdy, but it is sooo great! tonight there was this kid in a pumkin suit who kept cracking up at himself everytime he looked in the mirror, then there was another boy dressed up as gumby, and so because of the suit he couldn't walk very well. he tried to climb one stair by walking, then crawling, then the fell over on his back and couldn't get up! last time i watched there was a little boy who thought he was hula hooping, when really he was just holding the hoop in place and moving his hips all around! these kids are stinkin hilarious! i really hope i have a kid that funny one day!
